Proguard Security Services (UK) Ltd is an established manned guarding company. Established in July 1995, It is our intention to develop the business on a clear understanding of the customer's needs.
The company realise the need for a Professional Security Company who will provide a quality, cost-effective service.

The Safecontractor Charter Standards set down the benchmark against which the contractor is assessed. Due to the vast variation in contractor work activities, size and nature, the Standards are deliberately non-prescriptive which allows the auditors to use their best judgment and experience as to the specific level of evidence required to demonstrate compliance.
What is covered?
The Standards cover core elements including health and safety policies, risk assessment and first aid, but also include specific requirements relating to the activity for which accreditation is being sought. For example, high risk activities such as asbestos removal have an additional 14 evidence requirements (including licenses and health surveillance).
How is it covered?
The overall performance and operation of the Audit Team is governed by the Professional Guidance Note (PGN) which outlines the overall aims of the audit process and other non-technical issues including file handling, call handling and customer service.

Proguard can provide several services our most predominant being manned guarding. Our security Officers are fully screened and vetted to British standard 7858 and receive full site-specific training. The standard we operate to is high and all our officers are undergoing training to the Security Industry Authority accepted standard on roles of an Officer and Conflict Management to NVQ level 2

The Company has just celebrated 15 years of security with in the North West area and is now based in Prescot. We are members of the Liverpool and Knowsley Chamber and actively take part in many of the meetings.

Our market research has taken the form of extensive investigation into the Security Industry. We have researched the day to day operations as well as costs, insurance and people management, we have identified areas of improvement to provide a more attractive security operation that will project a good image for the customer.
